Initial Impressions Dear Folks...I did download PopChar, but when I installed it, it requested a license key, or it would remain in trial mode. I assume the key was free, but if something is free I like it unencumbered. I didn't mind the idea of an evaluation so much.The interface wasn't plain and simple enough for me (a small chart with the characters all fitting in a small frame - visible all at once - would have been nice.Vince

Yeah, Ok... I'd love to review it, but after the download I looked around for installation instructions but could not find any. Is it stand-alone? Is it a plug-in? I thought it was a plug-in, but could not find any way to "plug it in!" I'm clueless, so clearer instructions would have been very helpful in my case..

 What software platform does it run on What software platform does the cartoonizer run on...is it photoshop, fireworks, corel draw?
Novice perspective I am a complete novice with VirtualDub and had no problem immediately outputting with the plugin. On the downside the audio didn't fair well but that's easily overcome with editing. Also, I may find the solution by tweaking the threshold settings but in drawing mode the lines move quite a bit from frame to frame. Example, carpeting looked like rippling water they way the lines changed from frame to frame. But hey - great results for a completely free plugin!

 Brilliant software great for animation effects, only wish it had a colour recreate option not just b&W.
Worth Purchasing At this time, I would recommend purchasing this product. I am still learning what it can do and the best ways to maximize the software. I was looking for a software to turn photos to cartoons for a project and this will definitely accomplish the task.
